Indian Shores is a quiet beach community just south of Indian Rocks Beach that is popular with everyone from snowbirds to seabirds. The town's residential quality and its assortment of shops and restaurants help visitors feel right at home. Just 19 blocks long, it is known for its friendly atmosphere, panoramic beaches, great seafood and tropical wildlife. It is home to the Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary, one of the largest nonprofit bird hospitals in the US. Be sure to experience the great restaurants in the area like Aloha-to-Go, Indian Shores Coffee Company, Mickey Quinn's Pub and Beach Grill and the renown Salt Rock Grill. As you first walk in, this condo is beautifully, beach themed decorated and sets the tone for your beach stay. Very clean and equipped with anything you may need to provide for your family, cooking large meals and also including fishing poles for the pier and boogie boards. Plenty of room for 2 adults and 4 young men with privacy in the front bedroom- very important!! Morning coffee on your balcony is a must. The view from your room and main room is amazing of the crystal clear waters, especially waking up to it. The condo is perfectly located on the beach for easy access from your beach chair to your condo for a quick beverage or bite. The private beach and pier is a plus- Did I mention the beach service kindly moves your umbrella with the sun- bonus! The area is filled with local establishments, not your usual commercial chains which is what we prefer to support the locals and very reasonably priced dinners. Cafe de Paris was my favorite coffee and fresh baked french pastry hide out! Would recommend this area and condo and will definitely return. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Much Needed Getaway at the Perfect Location

My family and I stayed at Sand Dollar 308 from June 20th, 2020 – June 27th 2020. It was a perfect place for a much need getaway. The pictures on the website are exactly what you got! The condo unit was so clean and so well put together. The beach was perfect walking distance! The pier was a nice plus! The pool was always clean! The Sand Dollar Condo itself is in the perfect location. You have so many close options for restaurants, shopping, etc… Our only complaint about the building itself is that there is only 1 elevator and it is not big at all. On moving in/out days it can be a long wait. Overall Unit 308 was perfect and we would highly recommend it!

A lovely place to stay

The condo is a lovely place to stay. The owners have thought of everything a guest might need from kitchen equipment to towels. The view of the Gulf is extraordinary. The location is fantastic–close to restaurants like Salt Rock and Guppy’s. The office staff and guests in the building were friendly. For two weeks we had a chance to relax, eat out if we chose, and travel to St.Pete for museums, restaurants, and shopping. We hope to return next year.

We had a great time at the Sand Dollar; only with the weather was warmer, but it was still great compared to the cold Northeast!! The complex was very quiet and directly on the beach. We met many of the owners and were very impressed with the upkeep of the condos. Wouldn’t hesitate to rent there again!!

The condo was very nice and comfortable. There were six of us and condo provided plenty of space and privacy. Everything was as pictured and was great. Would definitely come back to this condo and the Indian Shores area.

We loved this beach condo. Everything was neat and clean, great ocean views and balcony space; perfectly accommodated our family. Was initially missing a few things like grill utensils and was short on beach towels, but management responded immediately to our needs. The condo unit gets a 5 star rating.

I overall gave a 4 star mainly because the condo building itself is quite dated. There is only one, very small and slow elevator for a building with over 60 units. Also, the Sand Dollar controls access to/from the beach with a locked gate requiring keys. No problem in concept, except for the keys don’t work. Every person in the building had the same problem, so it was workable. All said, we would definitely rent this unit again. TVR response – Thank you for the honest feedback regarding the complex. We will share the key concerns with the property owner.
